Day 01: Cochin
(Arrival)
Arrive at the Cochin (Kochi) airport. Transfer to the
hotel in Cochin.
Day 02: Cochin - Thekkady (Periyar) (about 195
km)
In the morning you will visit St. Francis Church,
Chinese fishing nets and Mattancherry Palace. After
lunch drive to Thekkady. In the evening you will have a
boat ride on the Periyar lake.
Day 03: Periyar
In the morning visit the Periyar National Park.
Day 04: Periyar - Kumarakom (about 120 km)
In the morning drive to Kumarakom. In the evening you
will enjoy the boat ride on the backwaters.
Day 05: Kumarakom
In the morning leave the resort and drive to a houseboat
and enjoy the cruise through the backwaters. Overnight
stay in the houseboat.
Day 06: Kumarakom - Varkala
In the morning leave the houseboat and proceed to
Varkala. After having a small break in the hotel in
Varkala, visit the Varkala beach.
Day 07: Varkala
The whole day at leisure in Varkala.
Day 08: Varkala - Trivandrum
In the morning transfer to Trivandrum airport for the
onwards journey or flight to home destination.
